Alright! On to week four. Who knew I would make it this far. We are almost at the infamous DAY 30 mark, let's hope we make it!
I'm not going to lie, this week was hard. I was busy, feeling uncreative, lazy, and feeling as if I've done everything creative I could possibly do. NOT TRUE! That's one of the points of this challenge, I need to try new things and become better at those. The only NEW thing I've tried so far is crocheting- which I picked up fairly quickly, but it takes forever! I'm a fast results kind of girl. Maybe I should be interested in another field....
Anyway, My Day 22 I was watching this cooking show where you challenge each other cooking with your families. So, you would have a daughter, mother, and father. A mother and two daughters. A grandma, a mother, and son. The combinations were endless. the show was not very good, but I always enjoy watching cooking shows, because it's like eating without the calories #score. BUT this show made me really homesick. I miss my mom's cooking. I miss my sisters. I just miss everyone and everything about home. I was going to cook one of my mom's recipes, but we already had leftovers on the menu.... you can't change that stuff. So, I made this little doodle to make me happier. And what was super cute were the comments I got on this post. First, my sister said she made chicken noodle soup the other day and thought of me. #loveher Then my aunt said she made potato soup the other day and thought of my mom #generationsoflove. It made me happy and I hope it encourages you to cook with your family as often as you can! #Day22
Day 26 was uneventful. But I did make these delicious blueberry muffins. I have been practicing my food photography so I can use the hashtag #foodie and not be a poser. Anyway, here they are #Day26
On to Day 27. Today we hosted a small and a whole week early Friendsgiving. My husband and I watched a tech talk on the science of cooking and followed it to a T. We are mad scientist chefs now. We spatchcocked our turkey, which I am writing a blog about in a couple minutes, you can check it out here. It was so juicy and delicious! Words that have never been said about a turkey before. I also made homemade stock and rolls. Here's #DAY27
And lastly for this week, day 28. I wanted to take some more pictures and go out in nature. I also rarely do fun physical activity by myself. So, I thought why don't I go play disc golf by myself and take a bunch of pictures? Genius. Except the sun was in the wrong place for the mountains to look pretty.... and I need to study up on how to make that better. And all the grass and trees are pretty much dead at this point in the season. But I had fun, I played a good round and took some fun artsy pictures. Enjoy #Day28

I need to make these shorter, but the one above was just too emotional for me not to write. HAHA! Anyway, day 23 was my hubby's birthday! So, I wrapped his gift in a Sprouts paper bag and wrote HAPPY BIRTHDAY on it. Easy enough. #DAY23
Day 24 was the day our camera arrived!!! We got it for each other as our Christmas gift, and we couldn't wait until December. We bought a Nikon D7500
Reasons:
1. His family all uses Nikon so we can ask questions on lenses, equipment, etc.
2. It was the cheapest Nikon that can shoot 4K video (which was surprising).
3. It has this awesome app that transfers pictures straight from the camera to Google Photos, even when the camera is off!! it's amazing.
Anyway, I drew some chalk art to have some fun photographing art and close up objects. This is what I came up with. #DAY24
Okay, Day 25 was very busy... But I got to watch my husband and friend build a stick bomb. Literally the coolest thing ever, check it out on Youtube. It's like Dominos with sticks, and it looks like a cobra. Also I drew another quote, because I was so thankful for having a busy and fun day with these guys! Here's #Day25
