My Secret Recipe Book (Homemade Noodles)

Here's another recipe for you!

Homemade egg noodles. Simple, but delicious. No cooling overnight or anything fancy. I've made these a couple times now, and they always steal the show. I need to remember they would be perfect with just some chicken broth, chicken, and veggies. I always go a little fancy, and don't get me wrong- it's delicious. But makes me tired and full for the rest of the night. So, keep it simple and check out the recipe below.

Homemade Egg Noodles

Serves: 6

INGREDIENTS:

2 cups Flour
4 Eggs (beaten)
1/2 tsp salt

6 cups chicken broth (for cooking the noodles in)

DIRECTIONS:

Beat eggs, add the salt and flour.
Stir with a fork until combined.
Roll out on a floured surface (keep flour handy during this part).
With a pizza cutter, cut the rolled out dough into this noodles (whatever size you choose).
Place the noodles in the boiling broth, and simmer for 20 minutes.

Boiling the noodles in the broth gives them that extra delicious flavor! Hope you enjoy!

100 Day Creativity Challenge (Days 8-14)

Hey Guys, I'm back- and trying to be even more creative than ever. I love hand lettering, and obviously it is what I think I am good at. But I am determined to be more "creative" in my creativity choices. So, for Day 8 I chose to learn to crochet. Sounds easier said than done, right? Well, you are correct. I was quite terrible. I first started with the chain, pretty easy. A little awkward at first, but then relatively easy. Then I had to move to the next level, that's when it got a little sloppy. But then I ended going up another 4 levels and it got better and better each time. Now I just need to learn something other than a single or double stitch.... What do you think of my #DAY8 ? Alright, moving on to Day 9. I thought I would mix my creativity up a little and make some delicious dessert. When it comes to desserts I usually stick with cookies, brownies, and ice cream. That's usually where I stay, and I enjoy it there- don't get me w...

100 Day Creativity Challenge (Days 29-35)

I know, I know... I am super behind... But I am determined to catch up! Day 29, I have been wanting to get better with my ipad and Apple pencil.... since I have one and don't want to waste my money. Anyway, this isn't my best work, and I haven't found the best pens to use... I'll get there. Plus this replay time lapse is the coolest thing ever. Here's #DAY29 On to day 30, I have finally made this a habit! Today I used my chalk markers on slate. I chose a Zombieland quote, because it makes me happy. Here it is #DAY30 Day 31. So, I want to apologize for today... My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary (early) and I took some pretty pictures and mixed my own cocktail.. I'd call that creative. I know these snippets are really short.... Anyway, Day 32 I decided to commemorate our anniversary trip at Devil's Thumb Ranch (MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE EVER!!!) So, this is my creative project for #DAY32 Moving on to Day 33, I...
