Anyway, now you kinda know me. You're right, not really at all. But read a couple more posts and you will see what I do from day to day, what I'm passionate about, and how to do random crafts everyone wants to learn. I know you will love what all I have to share.

I will have a section that will give tutorials and recommendations on hand lettering for anyone curious about the craft. I am self taught for a couple years now, and it is what makes me passionate in life. I love lettering, how you can make simple letters look like a drawing or even look digital. IT'S AMAZING!

I will post tried and true recipes that will make any man or woman in your life love you forever and lick their plate with joy every night. I will give step by step instructions to make cooking dinner effortless for you.

I will show you how to start and maintain a bullet journal. This will inspire you to be creative everyday and also get your life together. Which we all need every once in awhile.

I will have a section on trying new crafts where I will learn a new crafting skill that I will share with you. You can laugh at my first attempts or revel in how amazing I am. Depends on the craft.

I will post photos from my adventures around Colorado and other places I visit. These will hopefully inspire you to travel, explore, and gain helpful hints about different cities and what to do in them.

I can't wait to start this journey with you!

How to Spatchcock a Turkey

Are you ready to find out the secret to an amazing Thanksgiving turkey? Is it brining? Basting? Butter under the skin? WHAT IS IT?!?! It's called spatchcocking and it is a Godsend. Note: you can also do this to chicken or any poultry (it will probably be different cooking times and whatnot) What is spatchcocking? Spatchcocking means you remove the backbone and lay your bird flat (don't worry I will do a step by step tutorial below). You do this so your legs and breasts cook at relatively the same time. With this method you want the breasts to end at about 150 degrees and the legs to end at about 165 degrees. Which is why we removed our legs in case they needed to cook longer. How to Prepare a spatchcocked turkey?  First, we bought a turkey. You buy one pound per guest. We had to get a frozen one because we bought it a week and a half early... But if you are cooking for Thanksgiving I highly recommend getting a fresh bird. There is no need to get one that is pre ...

100 Day Creativity Challenge (Days 15-21)

I realize I am a little delayed on these days, but I don't think I have that DAILY of a following. So I think I'm okay. Anyway, on to Day 15. For Day 15 I decided to break out the calligraphy set my husband gave me two birthdays ago. BEST GIFT EVER! It takes a lot of practice, and you have to go super slow.... not my forte. But once you get going it is amazingly easy. It makes you feel like using a quill back in the day with John Hancock. Or is it Herbie Hancock? The world will never know. #tommyboy Anyway, I was just messing around and writing letters, hope you enjoy my #DAY 15 Next, Day 16 I thought I'd give crocheting another go. I ended up using my entire thing of yarn, and it was only big enough to be a scarf (kind of going for a blanket, but the scarf is cute). I still haven't mastered it, and I need to do more research.... And of course PRACTICE PRACTICE PRACTICE #swanprincess. #DAY16 Day 17, this was a busy day. I went to Denver for ...

100 Day Creativity Challenge (Days 29-35)

I know, I know... I am super behind... But I am determined to catch up! Day 29, I have been wanting to get better with my ipad and Apple pencil.... since I have one and don't want to waste my money. Anyway, this isn't my best work, and I haven't found the best pens to use... I'll get there. Plus this replay time lapse is the coolest thing ever. Here's #DAY29 On to day 30, I have finally made this a habit! Today I used my chalk markers on slate. I chose a Zombieland quote, because it makes me happy. Here it is #DAY30 Day 31. So, I want to apologize for today... My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary (early) and I took some pretty pictures and mixed my own cocktail.. I'd call that creative. I know these snippets are really short.... Anyway, Day 32 I decided to commemorate our anniversary trip at Devil's Thumb Ranch (MOST BEAUTIFUL PLACE EVER!!!) So, this is my creative project for #DAY32 Moving on to Day 33, I...
