100 Day Creativity Challenge (Days 57-63)

I told you guys, I am really behind. Let's power through.

Day 57, I got new markers. I bought some brush markers. They smear a lot.... and it is way harder to make smooth and perfect, but it's the REAL way. I will learn, just wait. #DAY57

If you haven't figured out yet, I am OBSESSED WITH CHRISTMAS! Here is my #DAY58 where I also used Brush pens, still not my favorite, but I CAN DO IT

Day 59 I was challenged to write a friends name very wide.... Weird request, I know. Anyway, I couldn't. It was actually quite a challenge to write his name even remotely well. Anyway, here is my failed #DAY59

Onto Day 60, I felt like my letters weren't looking too hot. So, I went back to basics and wrote out an alphabet. #DAY60

Now, Day 61. This one is pretty self explanatory, MERRY CHRISTMAS! But it wasn't Christmas. #DAY61

Then Day 62, I did some more chalkboard art. This has to be my absolute favorite media!! #DAY62

Finally, Day 63 I wrote down a goal for the 2018. I want to get better at bounce lettering. Some people are so natural with it, but I struggle a lot. GOALS! #DAY63

How to Spatchcock a Turkey

Are you ready to find out the secret to an amazing Thanksgiving turkey? Is it brining? Basting? Butter under the skin? WHAT IS IT?!?! It's called spatchcocking and it is a Godsend. Note: you can also do this to chicken or any poultry (it will probably be different cooking times and whatnot) What is spatchcocking? Spatchcocking means you remove the backbone and lay your bird flat (don't worry I will do a step by step tutorial below). You do this so your legs and breasts cook at relatively the same time. With this method you want the breasts to end at about 150 degrees and the legs to end at about 165 degrees. Which is why we removed our legs in case they needed to cook longer. 100 Day Creativity Challenge (Days 29-35)

I know, I know... I am super behind... But I am determined to catch up! Day 29, I have been wanting to get better with my ipad and Apple pencil.... since I have one and don't want to waste my money. Anyway, this isn't my best work, and I haven't found the best pens to use... I'll get there. Plus this replay time lapse is the coolest thing ever. Here's #DAY29 On to day 30, I have finally made this a habit! Today I used my chalk markers on slate. I chose a Zombieland quote, because it makes me happy. Here it is #DAY30 Day 31. So, I want to apologize for today... My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary (early) and I took some pretty pictures and mixed my own cocktail.. I'd call that creative. 100 Day Creativity Challenge (Days 36-42)

On to the next week! Day 36. My husband and I went to his cousins' house for Thanksgiving and we brought an appetizer. It's a very pretty app. It's called SEVEN LAYER MEXICAN DIP, but I don't like olives- so it's only 6 layers. 1. refried beans 2. guacamole 3. mayo/sour cream/taco seasoning 4. shredded cheese 5. tomatoes 6. green onions Check it out in my #DAY36 You guys, I am getting very uncreative. But at least everyday is different. I love this Game of Thrones quote from Tyrion, and I love these wine glass markers I got from my brother last Christmas.
